This fall, the Esendemir Sisters and Flatbread Grill are featured in Montclair State University’s alumni magazine: http://www.montclair.edu/magazine/fall-2014/recipe-for-success/. It is truly a humbling honor to have this piece written about us. Montclair State University has been so supportive of Flatbread Grill and our journey. Not only have they supported our business directly by ordering food from us and patronizing Flatbread Grill, but they have really gone above and beyond to help us share our story. Thank you to Amy Wagner who wrote the piece, Stacy Albanese in the alumni office, Dan Rowe for his quote, and Mike Peters, the fabulous photographer who took the feature photo (see more photos from him below).
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS MSU!

What a wonderful article! You Esendemir Sisters are really something special. Good luck with the Hoboken Flatbread Grill. Can’t wait to try it someday!
Very nice article in the Montclair State University’s alumni magazine. It’s fantastic to see the Esendemir sisters and Flatbread Grill getting their much-deserved recognition!
It’s terrific when someone gets recognition. As usual the photography is great and even though this site is not very good for my diet, I wish you sisters the very best of success. I need to go get some Turkish food!
That was a wonderful piece written about you and your success. Yours is such a good success story. I have restaurants in two neighboring cities now and I have been contacted by a woman in a more distant city who is interested in doing business with me and opening a place where she lives. (She apparently comes here on business and eats at my place regularly and fell in love.) I had not really looked at franchising before. What would you suggest?
Great to see you getting yourselves out there Esendemir sisters!
Good job Esendemir sisters! Looking forward to hearing more from you.
I’m so happy to see you girls having so much success! I am always in awe of men and women, who start from the ground up, stay together and build it step by step. I also like the fact that you want to use fresh ingredients and stay away from hormone-free chicken at the Flatbread Grill. This is a place I would like to visit someday although I don’t live in your town.
