It’s worth it to get out the old headphones and give a listen to this. The host was very charming, and the Esendemir sisters are great – humorous and practical at the same time! If you want to tune into “Uplifting Radio,” then you’ve found the right station with this interview.

The three sisters tell their compelling story in a straightforward, and yet upbeat, way. Their contention is that the struggles in their early life, as well as those they encountered in the restaurant business, prepared them for success. This is quite a mindblower, as sometimes I still catch myself thinking, “No wonder I can’t, with the background I’ve had.”

So the interview not only shares an enthusiasm for good food, doing it your way, and a whistle-while-you-work ethic, but made me reflect on a point of personal growth I’ve experienced lately. I’m glad I had the hardships I did, and I’m glad I turned out to the type of person that I am. Hopefully I can continue to actualize the person I am, just like the Esendemir sisters did. 🙂
